A York City man collecting government disability was busted after officers found about $26,000 worth of heroin inside his home, according to police.
York City narcotics officers, with help from Northern York County Regional Police, raided the 727 Manchester St. home of Rickey Watts about 6:20 a.m. Thursday, city Detective Andy Shaffer said.
Police seized 1,320 individual bags of heroin with a street value of $26,400 and also seized $1,682 in cash, according to Shaffer.
"It's more cash than I have at my house, I guarantee you that," he said.
Watts, 30, collects Social Security disability payments, according to Shaffer.
"That's an insult to every working person," he said.
Watts is charged with heroin possession with intent
In 2005, he pleaded guilty to felony drug dealing in York City, according to court records.
