Crews have cleared the scene of a crash on Interstate 83 northbound near the Newberrytown exit (Exit 32) that snarled traffic for an hour or so on Monday afternoon, police said.
It happened about 2:45 p.m., according to the York County 911 Center.
A vehicle crashed and ended up over the Jersey barrier that separates the northbound and southbound lanes. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened about 200 yards north of the exit.
The left northbound lane was temporarily closed, but reopened after the crash was cleared, police said.
