If you like local history and have a long memory, the York County Heritage Trust needs your help.
The organization is looking for people who can help identify subjects of photos taken at Central Market in the 1940s.
As the historic downtown market celebrates its 125th year, the Heritage Trust has on display about 25 photos of the interior and exterior of Central Market.
The black and white photos are mounted in black metal frames inside the meeting hall of the Heritage Trust at 250 E. Market St.
"We have a nice collection of photos on display and think it's a great way to get people in who may know the people in the photographs," said Lila Fourhman-Shaull, director of library and archives for the trust.

"All they have to do is fill out some information and hand it to a receptionist," Fourhman-Shaull said.
Once properly identified, the pictures will be added among the Heritage Trust's catalogue of 150,000 photos and entered into a computer program. Each photo in the catalogue will include information.
Yorkers who wish to participate can visit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at the Heritage Trust.
