Street sweeping is scheduled to resume in York City on Friday, March 15, according to a news release from Mayor Kim Bracey.

The first night of sweeping will occur from midnight to 6 a.m. on streets posted for the third Friday of the month.

Bracey reminded residents that cars need to be moved Thursday evening before midnight.

The fine for parking on a street posted for street sweeping is $50.
