Maryland head football coach Randy Edsall will speak at the Luterhan Men's Club of York County dinner meeting on Tuesday, March 19.
Edsall is a graduate of Susquehannock High School and a native of Glen Rock.
The dinner begins at 6 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 839 W. Market St. in York.
Edsall was a three-year letter winner in football, basketball and baseball during his high school days at Susquehannock. After a collegiate career at Syracuse, where he played quarterback, Edsall has compiled more than 30 years of coaching experience at the college and pro levels.
He enters his third season as head coach of the Maryland Terrapins, following 12 successful years as head coach of Connecticut, where he took the Huskies to five bowl games and won Big East Coach of the Year honors in 2010.
He's also a member of the York Area Sports Hall of Fame.
Edsall will discuss the Maryland football program in his message, which is titled "Gaining Results Through Teamwork." Maryland football is poised to join the Big Ten in 2014.

The cost is $8.50 a person. The reservation deadline is midnight March 12.
