York will see a couple of warm days before wintry weather returns later in the week.
Monday will be rainy, with a high of 50 and low of 31, according to the National Weather Service. There could be a few icy patches on roads early in the morning. Winds will be from the southeast at 6-10 mph, switching to the southwest in the afternoon, and the area will get up to a quarter inch of rain.
Tuesday will be sunny and windy, with west winds at 9-14 mph and gusts up to 32 mph, the forecast said. The high will be 47 and the low 29.
Wednesday will be cloudy, with light snow in the afternoon becoming heavier after 8 p.m., the NWS said. The high will be 41 and the low 27.
Snow is expected to continue Thursday morning, and Thursday's high will be 42 and the low 28, the forecast said.
Friday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 42 and low of 27, the NWS said.
The possibility of snow comes back Friday night and lasts through the weekend, the service said.
