Police said they've arrested a man who allegedly robbed Dover Township convenience store at gunpoint last summer.

Matthew Sharp, 20, of 2 N. Main St. in Dover, is charged with robbery and related offenses, according to Northern York County Regional Police.

The robbery happened at 10:15 p.m. Aug. 1 at Turkey Hill Minit Market, 2820 Carlisle Road, and Sharp made off with $117, police said.

On Jan. 23, a tipster came forward and told police Sharp had been bragging about committing the robbery.

A store clerk later picked Sharp's photo from a lineup, and also identified a tattoo on Sharp's arm as being the same as the distinct arm tattoo the robber had, police said.

Sharp was arrested Thursday by the U.S. Marshals Service fugitive task force, according to police.
