A York City woman escaped life-threatening injury when she was shot in a convenience-store parking lot early Friday morning, police said.

Police said Tamika Goodwin, 30, of South Belvidere Avenue, was not the intended target of the 2:05 a.m. shooting.

She was sitting in the driver's seat of her car in the parking lot of the Sunoco A-Plus, at 260 N. Sherman St., when a man fired a shot and struck her in the arm, police said.

The man and a woman who was with him both were recorded on the store's surveillance system.

A cash reward is being offered to the tipster who helps police arrest the shooter.

Anyone who recognizes him or the woman with him -- or who has information about the shooting -- is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 755-TIPS.
