Someone stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked at an auto repair center in Manchester Township, police said.

The car had been left at the business, in the 400 block of Loucks Road, when someone crawled underneath it and removed the catalytic converter from the vehicle's exhaust system, Northern York County Regional Police said.

The part is worth about $500, according to police, who said the theft report was made on Wednesday.
