A domestic dispute in West York alerted officers to an apparent marijuana-growing operation in an apartment early Wednesday morning, police said.
Borough officers were called to an apartment at 140 N. Adams St. about 1:20 a.m. for a dispute between David Scott Gordon and a woman, police said.
After Gordon let an officer inside the apartment, police found marijuana and a bong on the floor of a bedroom, according to charging documents.
Police obtained a search warrant later that day and searched the apartment. They found 20 plants in various stages of growth as well as growing tools, including grow lights, in a storage room, police said.
Gordon, 48, of 140 N. Adams St., is charged with three counts of manufacture or possession of drugs with intent to deliver.
Gordon remained in York County Prison Thursday morning on $10,000 bail.
