A pizza deliveryman told West York Police that he was robbed at gunpoint while making a delivery in the borough early Saturday morning.
The 37-year-old delivery man, who works for MoMo's restaurant in York City, told police that just delivered an order to a home in the 1700 block of Filbert Street when a man approached him and asked for a cigarette just before 3 a.m., police said.
A second man approached, pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at the deliveryman, as he demanded money, police said.
The deliveryman handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the two robbers fled east toward York City. The deliveryman ran two blocks to the police station, police said.
The robbers are described as black men in their 20s. One is between 5-feet-9 and 5-feet-10 with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and black boots.
The second robber, who was armed, is about 6 feet with a tall and lanky build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and white sneakers.
