A Dover man is back in York County Prison after less than a day on the run from authorities.

Brian Eugene Wiley, 39, was given permission to leave the prison's work release facility at 7 p.m. Thursday so he could apply for a job but never returned, according to state police.

Less than 24-hours later at 2 p.m. Friday, he was arrested by troopers during a traffic stop, police said.

Wiley is now charged with escape and providing false identification to law enforcement, according to online court documents.
