Winter classes begin Jan. 12 at York Little Theatre, 27 S. Belmont St., Spring Garden Township.

Registration is open. For ages 15 and up, Improv U will be held 6-8 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 13 through Feb. 10. The class costs $85. Also for ages 15 and up, a Basic Stage Management class will be held from 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 27. This class costs $35 and is an introduction to stage management, including an orientation to YLT procedures, equipment and policies.

Pee Wee Theatre will be held Saturdays, Jan. 12 through Feb. 2. Classes include:

-- Spotlight Theatre for children with special needs, for all ages, will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Class costs $35.

-- Page to Stage, an introduction to theater for ages 5-8, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. The class costs $65.

-- Stomp the Stage, an introduction to theater dance for ages 7 to 11, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. The class costs $65.

-- Setting the Stage, an introduction to theater for ages 7 to 11, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m.. The class costs $65.

-- Hocus Pocus, a magic performance class for ages 10-13, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. The class costs $65. Students will have the opportunity to perform with professional magicians during YLT's Night of Magic and Wonder, April 6, featuring a variety of extraordinary comedy/magic acts in one spectacular event.

-- Hair and Make-up Techniques, for ages 7 to 13, will be held from 11 a.m. to noon. The class costs $55 and includes a personal, professional make-up kit.

-- All About Sound, a sound design class for ages 7 to 13, will be held from 11 a.m. to noon. The class costs $35.

-- Monday Night Glee Club will be held from Jan. 28 to March 4. The class is based on the hit television show. For those ages 10 to 18, glee club will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. and costs $120. For glee club junior, for ages 6 to 11, the club will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. and costs $60.
