A 46-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday by Fairview Township Police for allegedly embezzling more than $137,359 from her employer.
Phuong Nguyen-Davis, of York, was employed as a bookkeeper for Keystone Certifications Incorporated in Fairview Township, a news release said.
While reviewing records, Keystone Certifications found discrepancies with their finances and contacted police, the release said.
Between July 2010 and December 2012, Nguyen-Davis allegedly forged 117 checks and stole more than $139, 359 from the company's bank account.
Nguyen-Davis was arraigned and given $25,000 unsecured bail.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 23, the release said.
Keystone Certifications, located on Old York Road, provides third-party certification and inspection programs to qualify products for building codes, approval and energy incentive programs.
