When state Rep. Eugene DePasquale, D-York City, is sworn in as state auditor general on Jan. 15, the 95th District office in York City will remain open even though the seat will be vacant.
Residents will be able to go to or contract the office at One MarketWay West for help concerning state government.
Office staff will be scaled back from three staff members to one until a new representative is elected, DePasquale said.
Whoever is elected the next representative has the option of keeping the office open at its current location or opening it at a new location, he said.
