Police are searching for the driver of a truck that struck a large traffic sign on Mount Rose Avenue in Springettsbury Township.

It happened between 7:30 p.m. Dec. 20 and 1 p.m. Dec. 21 near the intersection of Greensprings Drive, township police said.

A construction crew was working in the area and had placed a large illuminated arrow board in the area to direct traffic through the construction zone, police said.

It's believed a large truck, possibly a tractor-trailer, hit the sign.
