Three Jackson Elementary School students face juvenile charges after they handled a small folding pocketknife that one of them brought to school, York City Police said.

The students, all 11 years old, are being charged with possession of a weapon on school property.

Officers were called to the 177 E. Jackson St. school shortly before 9 a.m. Friday, police said.

The students didn't threaten anyone with the knife and no one was hurt, police said.
