A New Cumberland teen is charged with driving under the influence and other offenses for an October crash that sent him and three other teens to area hospitals.
Tyler A. Piatt-Rainville, 19, no address provided, is free on his own recognizance, charged with DUI, aggravated assault while DUI, reckless endangerment and failing to stay in his own lane, according to online court documents.
Fairview Township Police filed charges Nov. 21.
Police allege Piatt-Rainville was under the influence behind the wheel of a GMC Yukon when it crashed in the 400 block of Old York Road about 9:40 p.m. Oct. 23.
Witnesses said the SUV was southbound when it swerved and went over an embankment, landing on its roof, police said.
Piatt-Rainville and two juvenile passengers were taken to Hershey Medical Center. A fourth juvenile was transported to York Hospital, police said.
Piatt-Rainville and the three passengers have since been released from the hospitals, police said.
