Following are capsulized looks at Friday's District 3 championship games involving York-Adams League teams.

CLASS AA

BERMUDIAN SPRINGS (12-0) VS. WYOMISSING (12-0) AT HERSHEYPARK STADIUM, 7 P.M. Wyomissing is making its third straight appearance in the Class AA final.

The Spartans finished second to Lancaster Catholic and Trinity, respectively, the past two years.

The Berks County team features blue-chip senior Alex Anzalone, a Notre Dame recruit at linebacker. The 6-3, 235-pound Anzalone is averaging nine yards a carry (116 carries for 1,048 yards) as a running back. Justin Causa (610 yards) and Brandon Gonzalez (600 yards) complement Anzalone.

Wyomissing, which has a dominating offensive line, doesn't have to throw the ball very much. Quarterback Joe Cacchione has attempted just 61 passes. Eight of Cacchione's 34 completions have gone for touchdowns, and he's been intercepted just two times.

Bermudian Springs relied this season on the outstanding one-two running combination of Zach Stroup and Tristan Sponseller. Stroup, a senior, and Sponseller, a junior, combined for 2,375 yards. Unfortunately for the Eagles, they'll be without Stroup for the championship game. He sustained a broken collarbone in last week's 34-14 semifinal victory over Biglerville.

Bermudian quarterback Michael Moore has been extremely efficient in the passing game, completing 67 of 126 for 1,266 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Spartans and Eagles had just one common opponent this season: Littlestown. Wyomissing defeated the Thunderbolts, 45-13, and Bermudian Springs downed their Adams County rival, 24-8. The Spartans have captured five district titles, and the Eagles have earned three crowns.

CLASS A

DELONE CATHOLIC (8-3) VS. STEEL-HIGH (8-3) AT HERSHEYPARK STADIUM, 1 P.M. Delone Catholic combines a share-the-carries running attack with a highly efficient passing game.

Five players, Matt Guiffreda, Lance Reneker, Nick Braun, Brett Smith and Nate Miller, have combined for 306 carries and 2,348 yards. Smith, along with rushing for 400 yards, has passed for 1,020 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Steel-High began the season with three straight victories followed by three losses followed by five consecutive victories. Tyquan Walker leads the Steamrollers' running game with 446 yards, and Julian Grant heads up the passing game with 828 yards and seven TD tosses.

Delone Catholic and Steel-High both lost to Trinity this season. The Shamrocks defeated the Squires, 49-27, and the Steamrollers, 47-26.

Delone Catholic has won seven District 3 crowns, six in AA and one in A, and Steel-High has collected eight titles, all in A, including four in a row from 2005-2008. Steel-High is a team to watch in the Patriot-News rankings. Delone Catholic is not ranked.
