More than 3,700 Met-Ed customers had a brief power outage around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Spokesman Kathy Seilhamer said a damaged switch caused the outage, which affected 3,738 customers from West York down to Jacobus.

Power has since been restored, as the outage lasted 20-30 minutes, Seilhamer said.
