Officers arrested two women who were fighting inside a York City eatery on Sunday night.

York City Police said Officer Christopher Roosen was called to Li's Kitchen at 287 W. Market St. about 9:50 p.m. for a reported fight.

There, he found Anne Marie Weins and Sonnie Shaw yelling and causing a scene, police said. He also saw Weins throw a glass beer bottle, which shattered on the floor, police said.

Roosen started to arrest Weins, at which point Shaw started pushing the officer and yelling at him to leave her alone, police said. Both women were arrested when a backup officer arrived to help Roosen, police said.

Shaw, 33, of 532 W. King St., is charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and hindering the apprehension of a suspect for getting in the middle of Weins' arrest, police said.

Weins, 45, of 553 W. Clarke Avenue, was cited at the scene with disorderly conduct.
