Amid growing competition from online retailers, Boscov's plans to stop selling major appliances and electronics by the end of the year, according to a manager at the Lower Allen Township store.
Stores in the Reading-based chain will begin clearing out inventory this Sunday with sales up to 30 percent off, manager Jack Ziegler said. There will be a circular in Sunday's paper that will explain more, he said.
