Hopewell Township is getting a new stop sign.
The state Department of Transportation will install a new stop sign at the intersection of Pleasant Valley, Webb and Woolen Mill roads Friday.
The current intersection has stop signs in three directions. The new configuration will include a stop sign on Pleasant Valley Road in the eastbound direction, according to PennDOT.
"Stop Ahead" signs with flashing amber lights, as well as flashing red lights on the new stop signs will mark the new stop condition.
The amber lights will remain in place for 30 days and the red lights will remain in place for 60 days, after which time, the flashing lights will be removed, PennDOT said.
