South York Diner will open next week with a new owner and new menu.

The restaurant, which had been dark and quiet since a June sale, will open to customers with a family-style menu, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hours will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily for the diner at 2149 S. Queen St. in York Township.

The restaurant was recently leased, a property owner confirmed.

At the corner of South Queen Street and I-83, it was put up for lease last month by owners Themi and Chris Sacarellos, and Bill Costarellos. The 6,254-square-foot property was listed for $6,250 a month, or $75,000 a year.

The men bought it in June from their family member Steve Skouras, who owned the business for 37 years before retiring.
