One's a little sturdier than the other, but the wide-eyed bulldogs agree on one thing - they love their new bathtub.

Posed in an ad for Pennsylvania Home Solutions, the short-nosed pups are featured on a shower wall built by the company, which is a vendor at the York Fall Home & Hot Tub Show.

According to information provided at the vendor's booth, the shower on display and the bathtub in the ad can be constructed in a day for homeowners - and their pets.

Nearby, Red Rose Cabinetry Inc. set up a sample kitchen and dining room hutch, showing off its custom, handmade cabinetry.

Granite and stainless steel complemented modern designs and cabinets that seemingly had a nook for everything, leaving nary a wine bottle or kitchen utensil out of place.

And not far from Red Rose's vendor booth was a row of several hot tubs containing dozens of shiny jets and strategically-carved seats.

Those offerings are a small sample of what guests can expect to find from 60 exhibitors this weekend at the home show, which kicks off at 11 a.m. Friday at the Toyota Arena at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave.

Show hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

"We have everything involved with home improvement, from kitchen to bath to water-proofing basements," said Anna Clemente, event promoter. The event is a win-win for guests and vendors, she said.

"It gives exhibitors access to consumers, possibly giving them leads that will help their businesses. And it gives consumers the opportunity to compare vendors to see who can give them the best deal for what they're looking for," Clemente said.
