The York Expo Center is hosting a night of music and generosity.
"Jingle Bell Jam" will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at the center's Toyota Arena at 334 Carlisle Ave. in West Manchester Township.
The event is a joint presentation of the expo center and radio station "Great Country" WGTY 107.7, based in Gettysburg, said Mike Froehlich, the expo center's general manager.
The concert will feature Thompson Square with special guest Jana Kramer. Thompson Square is made up of husband-and-wife duo Keifer and Shawna Thompson.
The couple has won Academy of Country Music, American Country and CMT Music awards. They recently released a hit single, "If I didn't have you."
Kramer, a singer, songwriter and actress, in January
released popular song "Why Ya Wanna."Tickets, costing $14 each, go on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday at the York Fair Box Office.
People who bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the York Rescue Mission receive a coupon for free fries from Bricker's Famous French Fries. The coupons will be redeemable on concert night, Froehlich, said.
This is the second year the expo center and WGTY are holding the music concert, he said.
"It was successful, a good crowd for it," Froehlich said. "It's a great thing to do during the holiday season, and we're excited about it."
