Update:There have been no reports of damage to any state liquor stores in York County, according to Stacy Kriedeman, spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
Earlier report:Pennsylvania Wine & Spirits stores will reopen Wednesday, state officials said.
Liquor stores closed at 2 p.m. Monday and remained closed Tuesday due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy. The closure affected more than 600 stores statewide.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board was working Tuesday to assess the damage caused by the storm, said spokeswoman Stacy Kriedeman.
She could not confirm if any liquor stores in York County had been affected because assessments were ongoing Tuesday morning, she said.
