Five Fairview Township businesses were burglarized during the nighttime hours over the weekend.

The businesses were broken into when someone pried open a door during the overnight hours of Friday and Saturday. Once inside, very little was taken, according to Fairview Township Police.

The burglaries happened at: Anthony and Evans Insurance Company, 650 Wyndamere Road; Fairview Barber Shop, Allstate Insurance, and Dr. Pelleschi, all located at 564 Old York Road; and Gordon's Automotive, 585 Old York Road, police said.

Anyone who may have seen something suspicious or who has information about these incidents is asked to call police at 901-5267.
