York City Police took two reports on Friday of copper pipes being stolen from basements.

Pedro Vazquez told police that copper piping was stolen from the basement of 239 E. King St, according to city police.

A few hours later, Cherry Lane Reality reported to police that copper piping was stolen from a rental property at 633 E. Princess St., police said.

Police did not say if the two burglaries are believed to be related.
