A portion of Route 194 in Washington Township, York County, reopened to traffic Saturday morning after being closed since early July for two bridge replacement projects.
One bridge is located over Red Run; the other bridge is located over Reynold's Run. Both are north of East Berlin.
About 2,000 vehicles travel that stretch daily and separate detours had been set up for passenger vehicles and trucks.
Kinsley Construction handled the project at a price tag of about $1 million.
The bridges that were replaced dated from 1929.
