A dreary, rainy Friday morning will give way to a much more pleasant weekend.

The scattered thunderstorms and showers throughout York County should disappear by early Friday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

It'll be partly sunny Friday afternoon with temperatures near 70 degrees.

After dipping down to the upper 40s Friday night for high school football action, it'll be back in the mid-60s on Saturday and Sunday. Sunny days are forecast, too.
