Both northbound lanes of Interstate 83 were closed for about four hours Wednesday morning after a northbound truck driver fell asleep around 12:20 a.m. between the Queen Street and Mount Rose Avenue exits in York Township.

State police said driver Pery Duncan's tractor-and-trailer pushed through a guide rail and traveled down an embankment. He suffered a minor injury.

The northbound lanes were reopened around 4 a.m., said Trooper Adam Reed.
