Police have filed charges against a man for allegedly stealing more than $9,500 worth of cash and jewelry from a Wrightsville home during a burglary earlier this year.
State police on Tuesday filed charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief against James Bradford Jones Jr., 44, of Lancaster.
Jones is currently being held in Lancaster County Prison, police said.
Troopers said Jones burglarized a 73-year-old man's Locust Street home on April 20. He pried open the door to a safe and stole the cash and jewelry, police allege.
Jones had previously worked as a contractor for the victim, state police said.
