Wes Ashton fired rounds of 73 and 71 for a 144 total to win the Hickory Heights Golf Club Championship over the weekend.
Ashton, a freshman at Messiah College, finished four shots ahead of runner-up Jack Sheehan, who had identical rounds of 74 on the par-71 Spring Grove-area layout.
It was Ashton's first-ever Hickory Heights title. He is a graduate of South Western High School.
Shane Henry took third at 153 after rounds of 77 and 76, followed by Troy Jesko (80-78--158) and Scott Bankert (76-83--159).
Eric Miller took the first-flight crown on rounds of 79 and 84 for a 163 total, eight shots clear of second-place Glenn Baublitz (86-85--171). James Senft was third (82-93--175).
Jess Weaver took the women's crown after shooting 94 and 91 for a 185 total. It was her fourth-straight Hickory Heights crown.
