At York Springs, Maxine Herman led Dover to a non-divisional York-Adams League victory by scoring four first-half goals in the Eagles' 9-0 girls' soccer rout of Bermudian Springs on Wednesday.

Teammates Brooke Firestone scored two first-half goals, while Jessica Blymire and Kaylynn Warner both scored one second-half goal.

The Dover defense held the home team to just two shots on goal.

DOVER 2, BERMUDIAN SPRINGS 0: At Dover, the York County team scored one goal in each half to win the battle of the Eagles. Ryan Kotzman converted Cristian Bonilla's corner kick into a first-half goal, and Bonilla later fed Kyle Cook for the winners' second goal. Dover goalie Dalton Heim made four saves to earn the shutout in the non-divisional game.

GIRLS' TENNIS

DOVER 5, LITTLESTOWN 2: At Dover, the Eagles captured four out of the five singles matches to secure the non-divisional York-Adams League victory. Mia Becker, Bri Crone, Miranda DeLauter and Faith Jackson all earned singles wins for the Eagles. In doubles, Becker and Crone combined to win the No. 1 match. For the Thunderbolts, Lauren Wilhide won a singles match.

GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL

CENTRAL 3, RED LION 0: At Central, the host Panthers defeated Red Lion in a York-Adams League Division I match on Tuesday, 25-13, 25-20, 25-21. Hadley Swartz led the Panthers with 12 kills, eight digs and six aces. Teammates Erin Dobbeck had 33 assists, three aces, three digs, while Sydney Gallagher had 10 kills and three digs. For the Lions, Marley Vebares had 10 kills, six digs, while teammate Brooke Daugherty had 14 assists and nine digs. Central won the JV match, 25-3, 25-23.
