A guest at a Springettsbury Township hotel escaped injury when he was robbed at gunpoint in his room, police said.

Springettsbury Township Police said Jeffrey Barnes, 50, of Chattanooga, Tenn., was robbed in a room at the Quality Inn, 2600 E. Market St., about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Two men in their mid-20s walked into the room, pointed a gun at Barnes and stole his cell phone, laptop computer and cash, police said.

The robbers had their faces covered, according to police.
