York City Police arrested five people who allegedly sold alcohol during a party at a house near York College Friday night.
Daniel P. Norris of Sparta, N.J.; Andrew W. Aquila of Tabernacle, N.J.; Matthew S. Chletsos of Andover, N.J.; Travis N. Ressa of Andover, N.J.; and Daniel E. Dennison of East Berlin are each charged with the unlicensed sale of alcohol from a city property and unlawful acts relative to liquor, malt and brewed beverage and licensees, according to a news release.
Police also charged 36 students, one of whom is a minor, with patronizing an establishment where alcohol is sold without a license, police said.
City police and members of the York County Drug Task Force conducted a search warrant at 218 W. Jackson St. about 11:30 p.m. Friday, police said.
Undercover officers were charged an entrance fee in order to get into a party at the address, police said.
