Steven E. Arnold, 50, of the 200 block of Mount Zion Road was pronounced dead at York Hospital about an hour and a half after the crash, said Deputy York County Coroner Claude Stabley.

Northern York County Regional Police responded to the intersection of Intermediate Avenue and Frederick Court, where a 2004 BMW motorcycle had collided with a 1997 Ford pickup, according to a news release from police.

The pickup was traveling west on Frederick Court and stopped at a posted stop sign, police said. The driver proceeded to cross Intermediate Avenue, where it entered the path of the northbound motorcyclist, according to the release.

An autopsy to determine cause and manner of Arnold's death has been scheduled for Monday at Allentown's Lehigh Valley Hospital.
