A York area woman allegedly fought with employees and police after she was caught stealing clothing from a Springettsbury Township store last week.
Tara Dobson, 22, is charged with two counts of simple assault and one count each of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, retail theft, harassment and disorderly conduct, according to online court documents.
She is free on $10,000 bail.
Township police were dispatched to Burlington Coat Factory at 2801 E. Market St. about 5:20 p.m. on Sept. 11 for a report of a retail theft.
Police allege that Dobson took $321 worth of men's and women's clothing from display racks and attempted to leave the store without paying for the merchandise.
Store employees confronted Dobson about the clothing, but Dobson fought with employees and forcibly pushed her way to the doors, police said.
The employees were able to hold Dobson until officer arrived and attempted to take her into custody but Dobson resisted arrest, police said.
