The Central York golf team clinched at least a tie for the York-Adams League Division I title on Monday afternoon.

The Panthers won the tournament at the Bridges with a 405 total, which was three-shots better than second-place Dallastown.

Central improved to 35-1 on the season, good for 105 points, while Dallastown is second at 29-7, good for 87 points.

As long as Central does not finish last in the season-ending Division I tournament on Wednesday at Hickory Heights Golf Club, the Panthers will win the outright division crown.

It was a tough day for scoring at the Abbottstown-area course, with just four players breaking 80.

Dallastown's Brandon Greenplate and Red Lion's Brandon Stine shared medalist honors at 5-over-par 77. Central York's Evan Johnson fired a 78 and South Western's Zach Swanner fired a 79.
