Those people interested in reliving a childhood memory, or at least those interested in a bargain, can come to West Shore School District's public auction Oct. 20.

The district is unloading dozens of old items as a way to raise money for the district and also properly dispose of unwanted goods.

Want a student desk? There will be some up for sale, along with a plethora of odd objects.

A kiln, an athletic whirlpool pump, a wrestling mat, a dishwasher, a sewing machine and a 1996 Chevy 3500 series diesel truck with a snow plow will be among the items up for sale.

A full list is available on the district website.

The district's last auction was in 2009, said spokesman Ryan Argot. Chuck Bricker will serve as auctioneer.

The auction is at 9 a.m. at Lower Allen Elementary School, 4100 Gettysburg Road in Camp Hill.
