Gov. Tom Corbett will be in town Monday to visit Voith Hydro, as the West Manchester Township company celebrates 135 years in business.
Corbett will speak at 12:30 p.m., addressing the company's 500 York County employees after recognizing their service during an earlier ceremony.
Monday's event is closed to public and will end a two-day anniversary celebration.
A schedule of events on Sunday includes lunch, guided tours, games for Voith employees and their families, and visits from elected officials. The Sunday events are also closed to the public.
Voith has manufactured hydropower turbines and generation equipment since 1877, operating previously as Allis-Chalmers and S. Morgan Smith.
