The York Catholic girls' volleyball team continued its strong start in York-Adams Division III action on Thursday with a 3-0 victory over visiting York Tech.

The game scores were 25-13, 25-4, 25-14.

The Irish lead Division III with a 4-0 record, a half game ahead of perennial power Delone Catholic (3-0).

Zandria Zielinski led the home team with seven kills, three aces and three digs. Natalie Stewart had 12 assists, while Emily Glorioso had six digs.

York Catholic won the JV match, 25-4, 25-7.

OTHER GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL

YORK SUBURBAN 3, YORK HIGH 0: The visiting Trojans defeated the Bearcats, 25-6, 25-8, 25-10. Suburban, which leads York-Adams Division II at 4-0, was led by Luci Billet (seven aces), Alexis Gettle (10 aces) and Lindsay Saxman (four digs, four aces). Jasmine Berry (six digs) paced York High. The Trojans also won the JV match, 2-0.

DELONE CATHOLIC 3, HANOVER 0: At McSherrystown, Cambria Wierman led the Squirettes to the 25-14, 25-19, 25-14 victory by collecting 12 kills, 12 aces and seven digs. Allie Mondorff had 19 assists and three kills. Delone won the JV match, 25-11, 25-17.

SOUTH WESTERN 3, SPRING GROVE 1: At Hanover, the Mustangs won the York-Adams Division I match, 25-20, 25-18, 15-25, 25-12. Erin Harman led the Mustangs with 19 kills, 18 digs and five aces, while Mariah Krumrine had 36 assists, 12 digs, five kills and four aces. For the Rockets, Mia Bennett had nine kills and five blocks, while Adrienne Marcionette had 23 digs and Katie Baynum had nine kills. Spring Grove won the JV match, 25-16, 25-20.

WEST YORK 3, NORTH EASTERN 1: At West York, Lauren Fink led the Bulldogs to the 18-25, 26-24, 25-22, 25-16 victory with nine kills, 12 digs and three blocks. Alexis Harbold had 17 digs, Alara Benedict had four assists and three aces and Kari Lankford had five blocks. For the Bobcats, Cory Cook had seven kills and four blocks, while Madison Reichard had nine kills and four aces and Natalie Seitz had eight kills. West York won the JV match, 25-14, 25-16.

LITTLESTOWN 3, FAIR FIELD 0: At Littlestown, the Thunderbolts won the York-Adams Division III match, 25-16, 25-15, 25-16. Taylor Nicol led the home team with seven kills, seven aces and four digs. Alicia Mosebrook had seven kills, five digs and three aces. For the Green Knights, Danielle Shindledecker had four kills. Littlestown won the JV match, 20-25, 25-13, 15-13.

NEW OXFORD 3, KEN NARD-DALE 1: At Fawn Grove, the Colonials won the York-Adams Division II match, 25-19, 16-25, 25-19, 25-16. Alexis Hufnagel led the visitors with 16 kills and 16 digs, while Bonaire Berry had 37 assists. For the Rams, Anna Clements had 12 assists and 10 digs, while Sara Tarbert had nine kills and four digs and Jess Myers had six kills.

DOVER 3, RED LION 1: At Red Lion, Bayleigh Hoffman led the Eagles to the York-Adams Division I victory, 19-25, 27-25, 25-20, 25-23. She had 18 kills, 21 assists, nine digs, six aces and four blocks. Alayah Hall had seven kills and five digs, Lauryn Messner had 16 assists and Megan Blazosky had nine kills. For the Lions, Marley Vebares had 19 kills and four digs, while Riley Torbert had 15 digs and seven aces and Brooke Daugherty had 33 assists and seven digs. Red Lion won the JV match, 25-9, 25-13.
