It doesn't get any more country than York on Tuesday night - at least that's what Luke Bryan proclaimed to a wildly cheering crowd full of people wearing cowboy hats and boots at the York Fair.

The cheers grew even louder as the country music singer performed hits like "I Don't Want This Night To End," "Rain Is A Good Thing" and "Drunk On You."

"He's sexy," said friends Larissa Zeigler, 20, and Haley Marshall, 19, in unison.

"And his voice is amazing," said Zeigler, of Greencastle. It was her first concert at the York Fair.

Before Bryan performed his megahit "Country Girl Shake It For Me," the Georgia native warned everyone that he has been getting complaints from concertgoers that they pull hamstrings and other muscles at his shows.

To "warm everybody up," the singer got everyone dancing as he performed his own rendition of Sir Mix-A-Lot's "I Like Big Butts."

Bryan also performed covers of "Faithfully" by Journey and "Easy Like A Sunday Morning" by Lionel Ritchie.

He ended the night with "Country Girl Shake It For Me" and invited one young man from the audience to show off his dance moves on stage, which drew plenty of laughter from the audience.

The audience: Bryan tossed water balloons into the crowd throughout the evening and gave out plenty of high fives and handshakes to the screaming audience surrounding him.

"I'm an engaged woman, but if Luke Bryan were to holler at me I'd say hey, and my fiance would understand," said Amanda Clowney with a laugh.

Clowney, 26, and her sister Renee, 17, both of Gettysburg, won tickets to the show from WGTY Great Country 107.7.

Edward and Mary Peterson, 74, of Glen Rock didn't know any of Bryan's songs, but said that they just love going to country music shows. Last year they saw Toby Keith and Eric Church at the fair.

Enthusiasm: "I love country music, but I love that he played Sir Mix-A-Lot too," said Brooke Good, 31, of Grantham.

"He put on a pretty enthusiastic performance and really made everyone feel at home with mentioning York so much," Good said. "He's great, and Easton Corbin was nice too, a good lead-in."

Opening singer Corbin kicked off the evening with "This Feels A Lot Like Love" and "A Little More Country Than That," his gold single from 2009.

The Florida native also performed his hits "Roll With It" and "I Can't Love You Back" from his self-titled 2010 album, as well as "Lovin' You Is Fun" from his album "All Over The Road" released this year.

9/11: Corbin took a moment between songs to recognize the 11th anniversary of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

"We'll never forget it," said Corbin. "And I just want to say God bless America. It's the best place in the world."

A moment of silence was taken before the evening's shows began to remember those whose lives were lost on that day, as well as the lives of those who have died since then while serving their country.
