York Area Regional Police are looking for an apologetic man who robbed a Windsor Township convenience store early Tuesday morning.
The man entered the store at 791 Delta Road just before 2 a.m., pulled out a black revolver and demanded cash from a clerk and a wallet from a customer, police said.
A female accomplice jumped over the counter and loaded a backpack with multiple packs of cigarettes, police said.
After receiving money from the store clerk, the man apologized for the inconvenience the robbery caused and left with the woman, police said.
Police describe the male suspect as a white male with a slim build and between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a face or skull printed on top, a long-sleeve shirt, light blue jeans, black Converse-style shoes and a black mask covering his face.
The female suspect is described as a 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 white woman with a slim build. She was last seen wearing black pants and a turquoise hooded sweatshirt with white lettering across the chest.
The hood of the sweatshirt was over her head, and she also was wearing a light colored mask.
Anyone with information is asked to contact detective Trent Buschman at 747-0716 ext. 227.
