Fairgoers might want to remember a light jacket for the evenings this week as fall-like weather brings pleasantly dry air and cooler temperatures to the York area.

It'll be mostly clear Tuesday night with a low around 48 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

There will be patchy fog in the pre-dawn hours Wednesday and Thursday, but skies will be clear and sunny. The highs Wednesday and Thursday are expected to reach 82 before overnight lows of 51 and 57 degrees.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 81 and low around 60.

Saturday will be gorgeous, with sunny skies and a high of 79 during the day. There's a 30 percent chance of rain overnight, with a low around 61.

The rain might hang around for Sunday as the fair packs itself away for another year. There's a chance of showers Sunday and skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 76.
