A single-vehicle crashed closed a Dallastown intersection for an extended period of time so an electrical company crew could replace a damaged utility pole on Tuesday.

A truck with two occupants struck a utility pole at the intersection of North Pleasant Avenue and East Broad Street about 12:30 p.m., said officer Peter Montgomery of York Area Regional Police.

The pole was being held up by the truck and officers kept the occupants inside the truck until utility workers could determine that it was safe to get out, Montgomery said.

No one was injured in the crash.
