An 18-year-old man told police that he was robbed and beaten by three men in Fairview Township early Thursday morning.

The man told officers that he was at a Uni-Mart store on Wyndamere Road in Lewisberry when another white man with blond hair approached him and told him about a party nearby, according to Fairview Township Police.

The victim decided to go with the man to the party and got into a black car with two other white men, police said.

When the car reached the 700 block of Salem Road, one of the men punched the victim in the face, but he was able to jump out of the car.

All three men got out of the car and kicked the victim and stole his bag that contained his wallet and cellphone, police said.

The victim was able to get away and ran to a nearby house where the homeowner called 911, police said.

The victim suffered minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital.
