A York City man came home drunk Tuesday night, started an argument and pointed a loaded crossbow at the woman he lives with, according to police.
Gilbert Fitch, 54, of 41 W. Philadelphia St., is being charged with simple assault and making terroristic threats for the 10:30 p.m. incident, police said.
According to York City Police, 52-year-old Margaret Cushman of the same address told officers Fitch came home from a bar and began yelling at her about his keys.
As they argued, he grabbed a loaded crossbow, pointed it at her and threatened to kill her if she didn't tell him where his keys were, police allege.
Officers arrested Fitch and seized his compound crossbow, according to police, who said Fitch was visibly intoxicated and verbally abusive to officers and other residents of his home.
