A Fairview Township woman escaped injury Tuesday when her estranged husband used his Ford F-350 dump truck to ram her Chevrolet Trailblazer while she was sitting in it, police allege.

Michael J. Beatty, 38, formerly of Enola, is charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, reckless driving and disorderly conduct for the 2:30 p.m. incident, police said.

According to Fairview Township Police, the two of them had been in a nonviolent domestic dispute earlier at the intersection of Shawnee Court and Limekiln Road. After the dispute, Beatty rammed the woman's SUV, police said.
